sure there was no confusion about who the space belonged to.
The message was simple:
Private property. Do not park here without permission.
There was no shouting.
No dramatic confrontation.
No revenge.
Just a clear boundary.
Suddenly, the Problem Disappeared
The difference was almost immediate.
Once there was a visible reminder that the driveway wasn’t public parking, the casual visits stopped.
The neighbors no longer treated the space as an extension of their own property.
And, most importantly, I didn’t have to keep having the same uncomfortable conversation.
