Should You Do If You See One?
If you come across a vehicle displaying a white cloth, don’t panic or make sudden maneuvers.
Instead:
- Slow down gradually.
- Keep a safe distance.
- Pay attention to what is happening around the vehicle.
- If there appears to be a serious emergency, contact local emergency services.
- Don’t stop to help if doing so would put you or others in danger.
If the vehicle is safely stopped on the roadside, you may choose to offer assistance or contact roadside assistance.
