Timing Matters
One of the easiest ways to reduce unwanted caffeine effects is to pay attention to when you drink coffee.
Caffeine can remain in the body for several hours. Drinking coffee late in the day may interfere with sleep, even if you don’t immediately feel stimulated.
If sleep is a problem, consider moving your last caffeinated drink earlier in the day and seeing whether your sleep improves.
What About Decaf?
If you enjoy the taste and ritual of coffee but want less caffeine, decaffeinated coffee can be an alternative.
