What About Bugs?
Finding a bug in a hotel room doesn’t automatically mean the room has a serious infestation.
Hotels deal with many guests and different environments, so occasional insects can appear.
If you are concerned about bedbugs, inspect common hiding places such as mattress seams and the area around the headboard rather than relying solely on the space underneath the bed.
Look for signs such as:
- Small dark spots
- Shed skins
- Tiny insects
- Unusual stains
- Multiple bites combined with other evidence
If you suspect bedbugs, notify hotel management
