Really Predict Modern Technology?
Similar claims have been made about Nostradamus supposedly predicting airplanes, nuclear weapons, major wars, political leaders, and other modern developments.
But historians and scholars generally emphasize the difficulty of making precise predictions from texts that are poetic, ambiguous, and centuries old.
A convincing prediction should ideally be specific enough to be recognized before the event occurs—not interpreted afterward.
That’s where many Nostradamus claims become much less convincing.
